You are warmly invited to join us for a Holy Hour of Adoration, Benediction, and Evening Prayer (Vespers) as we reflect on the witness of St. Lawrence, Martyr, and our shared call to live as missionary disciples.
St. Lawrence reminds us that discipleship is not merely belief—it is a life offered in love. As a deacon of the early Church, he served the poor with joy and courage, recognizing them as the true treasure of the Church. His martyrdom was not an act of despair, but a profound witness of faith, hope, and trust in Christ. Through his life, we learn that mission flows from intimacy with the Lord and love poured out for others.
In the stillness of Eucharistic Adoration, we come before Christ who strengthens us to live with courage and compassion. Here, we are invited to reflect on how Christ calls each of us—through our daily lives, relationships, and service—to bear witness to His love, even when it requires sacrifice.
Rooted in hospitality, this Holy Hour welcomes all to come as they are. Together, we gather as a community shaped by prayer, nourished by grace, and sent forth to live the Gospel with generosity and joy.
During Evening Prayer (Vespers), we unite our voices with the prayer of the Church throughout the world, entrusting our lives and our mission to God. Through Benediction, Christ blesses and strengthens us, sending us forth to live as missionary disciples—rooted in faith, shaped by love, and courageous in witness.
Come and rest in the Lord.
Come and be strengthened for mission.
Come and walk in the witness of St. Lawrence.
All are welcome.
You may wish to reflect prayerfully on one or two of these questions during the Holy Hour:
How does the witness of St. Lawrence inspire my own call to missionary discipleship?
Where is Christ inviting me to live my faith with greater courage or generosity?
How can I serve others—especially the poor and vulnerable—with greater love?
What does it mean for me to offer my life as a gift to God and others?
How is Christ sending me forth to be a witness of His love in the world?
