Dear Friends,
November is a sacred time in the life of the Church when we remember and pray for our deceased family members, friends, and neighbors. It is also a time to draw close to those who mourn, offering the comfort of our faith and the hope of Christ's Resurrection.
Our parish community warmly invites you, your family, and friends to our Annual Memorial Mass on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the church, followed by a light reception in the Parish Hall.
During this special liturgy, we will remember those who have died, particularly those whom our parish families have lost during the past year. Together, we will entrust them to God's loving mercy and give thanks for the gift of their lives.
Throughout November, memorial scrolls bearing the names of our beloved dead will be displayed in the church, inviting us to continue praying for them during this month dedicated to the Holy Souls. You are also welcome to bring a framed or unframed photograph of your loved one to be displayed in the church during the Mass and throughout November.
The Book of the Names of the Dead will also be placed in a position of honor, offering everyone an opportunity to inscribe the names of those they wish to remember in prayer.
Please know that you are not alone in your grief. As a parish family, we walk together in faith, sustained by the promise of eternal life in Christ.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
In Christ,
Msgr. Paul Dotson & the St. Lawrence Martyr Parish Community
