Drawn Back to the Table

Mark your calendar for a night of inspiration: Saturday, May 24 at 7PM, right here at SLM as the 55-member Folk Choir from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, makes SLM its final stop on their 2025 Arizona-California concert tour! Experience Drawn Back to the Table, an original and captivating retelling of key Gospel narratives surrounding Jesus' ministry and the cornerstone moments of Christian faith. Each performance is crafted to breathe new life into sacred stories, encouraging audiences to reconnect deeply with God, react thoughtfully on their personal journeys, and renew meaningful relationships with others. At the conclusion of this tour, the Folk Choir will record a live album featuring the original music from Drawn Back to the Table. A freewill offering will be collected at each performance to help fund the choir's upcoming album and their anticipated East Asia tour in May 2026, further spreading their mission of faith and love worldwide.

Here’s how we at SLM can get directly involved: 1) donating money toward the choir’s dinner on the night of the concert, 2) spreading the word about the concert to friends, family, or anyone who you think would enjoy the performance, and 3) offering home-stay for these students.

The generosity of SLM parishioners in welcoming members of this choir into our homes fosters SLM’s spirit of community and connection. Please consider hosting two or more members of the choir for ONE night while the choir is in the Redondo Beach area. The schedule is:
